Relationship & Sex Therapy

Navigating the challenges of relationships is no easy feat.

“My role is to help and support you address areas within your relationship that are preventing you from sustaining a deep, enjoyable connection filled with love, unity and understanding.”

Zoë

These areas may include:

  • Improving communication and connection
  • Intimacy and affection
  • Navigating Conflict
  • Parenting
  • Juggling financial stressors
  • Digital Distractions
  • Infidelity
  • Amicable separation and conscious co-parenting

Often one of the fundamental reasons for relationship breakdown is rooted in misunderstanding.

Therefore, one of the most important roles I play is not only that of a mediator but that of a translator, supporting and helping you to improve the communication within your relationship and to build a bridge for understanding and connection.

Are you wishing to improve, repair or deepen your relationship and learn strategies to create a loving, supportive and long-lasting connection?

Is your relationship entangled in misunderstandings and lacking the depth you are longing for it to have?

Has resentment built in your relationship and you yearn to be seen, understood and appreciated?

Perhaps you are a parent, experiencing the challenges of balancing your role as a parent and a partner and are looking for strategies to sustain a thriving romantic relationship and maintain a deep connection despite the demands of parenting.

How could couples therapy benefit you?

One of the biggest misconceptions about couples therapy is that seeking help means you are failing in your relationship, yet when an individual carries out professional development for their carer, we don’t question it. To get a job, we carry out preliminary training, an apprenticeship, a course or a university degree and we are applauded for the accomplishment. Yet when it comes to being in relationship or raising children, we’re expected to just know how to do it. So reaching out for support from a competent couples therapist could in fact, be one of the wisest choices you ever make for your relationship and instead of being associated with failure or pathologising, it may instead be a sign of responsibility, expansion and positive growth – something we should feel proud of accessing.
