In life, there are few greater sources of happiness and connection than our intimate relationships and yet one of the hardest journeys we will ever take is that of intimacy and love. And the research shows that healthy relationships are not determined by the lack of conflict or challenges, but how well the couple can navigate these difficult times, together.
My name’s Zoë and I’m a Relationship and Couples Counsellor. I’ve provided relationship couching, sex therapy and parenting support to thousands of individuals and couples world wide, helping them create healthier and happier relationships and more fulfilling lives.
One of the biggest misconceptions in our society is that seeking couples counselling or relationship coaching means you are failing in your relationship, yet when an individual carries out professional development for their carer, we don’t question it. To get a job, we carry out preliminary training, an apprenticeship, a course or a university degree and we are applauded for the accomplishment. Yet when it comes to being in relationship or raising children, we’re expected to just know how to do it. So reaching out for support from a competent couples therapist could in fact, be one of the wisest choices you ever make for your relationship and instead of being associated with failure or pathologising, it may instead be a sign of responsibility, expansion and positive growth – something we should feel proud of accessing.

She immediately puts people at ease, bringing clarity and perspective to challenging situations. We are currently living in Melbourne, so all of our meetings with Zoe have been conducted online. My experience working with Zoe has been, and continues to be, a joy. She has a way of bringing focus, balance and calm to what are often volatile topics and ensures conversations travel on a constructive path and remain "on topic". Her empathy and genuine concern for people’s welfare is obvious and undoubtedly part of her DNA. She has an ability to help people see and achieve outcomes that they may not have considered at the start of their journey. I cannot recommend her skills highly enough.
